Hi, I’m Grace!

If you’re a nonprofit that’s ready to grow your impact in Nevada, I’m your person. As a third generation Las Vegas local, I’m a lover of Nevada and all things local. Nevada is my community, and the love I pour into it is also poured into me daily from the people here. I love working hard to make a difference in it - I couldn’t imagine a more fulfilling calling for me. However, more than my community, I love my daughter, and my passion also stems from wanting to show her how we can make the world a better place and love our neighbors as ourselves.

That’s why for over five years I’ve been grant writing for Southern Nevada nonprofits. Within the last three of those years, I’ve helped to raise over $5.2 million to better this community. I know that I’m just getting started and can’t wait to see what else is around the corner.

When I’m not writing grants, you’ll find me spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and hanging out outside (usually not when it’s 115 degrees though).

My ideal day would be re-watching The Office, over and over again, on a fall day while snuggling with my daughter and eating one of my husband’s magnificent culinary creations.

At an early age I realized that there’s no better feeling than when I help people do something to make Nevada a better place.

It all started with a grant writing class in college that left a lasting impression on me. Right after I graduated with my BA in Sociology (with an emphasis in social research), I interned with the Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, and I fell in love with the work I did there. There was no looking back after that - I had found my passion working with nonprofits, promoting change in Nevada, and making it a better place for the people living here.

Since 2015, I have worked at The Las Vegas Natural History Museum as the Education Administrator and managed the funding of the field trip program for low-income students, as well as at Rebuilding Together of Southern Nevada as a Grant Writer and Development Coordinator. It was at Rebuilding Together that I maintained the fundraising for a $2 million budget. In my first two years of working for them, of the grants awarded, over 20% of funding was from new partners.

I founded Grants With Grace Consulting to continue growing my work with nonprofits and missions that set my soul on fire.

If you’re a small nonprofit with stellar goals and in pursuit of adding life-changing value to the Nevada community, my mission is to take your fundraising to the next level and maximize your impact.

As a small nonprofit, you already know that a huge problem is that you cannot typically afford grant writers for the first few years. As a result, you grow slower, barely covering your fundraising roles. This leaves you with poorly researched and written grants, which can cause extremely frustrating and devastating losses of, if not hundreds, thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, I’ve seen this happen way too often and have seen endless numbers of overworked nonprofit employees who are stretched too thin.

I founded Grants With Grace Consulting to take concrete action against this problem - that smaller nonprofits, no matter how award-worthy your programs and missions are, suffer when it comes to fundraising and who need to grow your budget but can’t afford a paid fundraiser.

I’m here to write for your cause and to make sure that you’re going for all those fundraising opportunities at full force, while avoiding the dreaded mission drift and enabling you to have all of the fundraising resources you deserve.

I provide prospect research, grant writing, and grants management services and quality, honest grant writing and consulting services to nonprofit organizations. I work with your nonprofit as a team to ensure that no funding opportunities are missed that could greatly assist and grow your nonprofit. I also teach and give nonprofits the resources to help them through the grant writing process.

Are we a good fit to change lives together?

If you’re a smaller or newer nonprofit who is focused on housing, seniors, or education and targeting Nevada, I would love to chat!
